Ramadan: Cakaj resigned because he did not agree with Edi Rama

Acting Foreign Minister Gent Cakaj has resigned unexpectedly today, but it seems, however, that an analyst from Kosovo has read it differently. Shkodran Ramadani has stated that Cakaj's differences with Edi Rama have been significant “and from outside”.
He also mentions the case of Mini-Shengen and the Presevo Valley as well, Periscope follows.
“While Cakaj was critical of Mini-Shengen because it brought many questions about the sovereignty and integrity of the Republic of Kosovo, Rama was the locomotive of this project. Also, Cakaj was convinced that a resolution should be voted in Albania's Assembly condemning the Serbian Genocide in Kosovo, while Rama chose silence and inaction.” wrote Ramadan in his profile.
He also mentions the diplomatic language Edi Rama had chosen to use towards Alexander Vuciqi and the aggressive language of the chief diplomat from Kosovo.
Full status:
Honestly, I wasn't very surprised at Cakaj's resignation. That was an expected decision. The resignation was only a matter of time because the differences between Foreign Minister Cakaj and Prime Minister Rama were so obvious that they can be observed from outside. Especially last year. While Cakaj was dynamic in his commitments to Albanians outside Kosovo and Albania, and especially in the Presevo Valley, Rama was almost passive and almost indifferent. This was no help for Cakay and efforts to facilitate life in the Presevo Valley, where the Albanian community there is facing a silent ethnic cleansing from the Serbian state's reception device. At the time Albania and Kosovo were to oppose this project, Cakaj apparently had neither the will nor determination of Prime Minister Rama. Moreover, the Kosovo issue was a nerve point for the Cakaj-Rama report. While Cakaj was critical of Mini-Shengen because it brought many questions about the sovereignty and integrity of the Republic of Kosovo, Rama was the locomotive of this project. Also, Cakaj was convinced that a resolution should be voted in Albania's Assembly condemning Serbian Genocide in Kosovo, while Rama chose silence and inaction. Divergents were also seen in other levels. While Cakaj was harsh in his language against Vuciqi and Daciqi, calling Gebel “Alphaists”, Rama cultivated a completely different report with them and for a person from Kosovo, like Gail, it is not possible to ignore such a thing as absurd. Cakaj's mandate sparked a lot of debate since his first day in the post, and this made it a goal of uninhibited attacks on him by politicians and political parties on both sides of the border. However, Cakaj was the minister who opened negotiations for EU membership, and this is an achievement that cannot be overlooked. Also, it was Cakaj who did more for the Valley Albanians than all his ancestors, who had left Albanians in the valley of oblivion. You can understand that if you stay only five minutes with the valley political representatives, who openly show that with Gent Cakay as foreign minister, for the first time have felt the positive presence of the Albanian state in their difficult position in Serbia. However, Gent I wish him success in his next commitments, while Albania continues its good work in the defence of the uncontained Albanians outside its borders and Kosovo, which is its constitutional obligation.
