Metropolitan police said protesters have gathered at considerable numbers in the assembly square, and that organisers have not submitted documents on the risk assessment of the rally.

“This protest is no exception to rules for six people and should not happen”, the Metropolitan police wrote on Twitter.

Police officials said they are trying to persuade protesters to leave this area, but will act if citizens do not respect the authorities' request, writes The Guardian, Report Express.

From the local photos of the event, it can be seen that several arrests have already been carried out. Among the arrested was the owner of a master hall that refused to close the business during the second nationwide isolation.

I'm going to keep doing this until I get rid of”, the owner of the gym room, Andreas Milchli, was heard saying while he was getting into a police van.

The British government has recently increased the number of areas that are under stricter measures because of the risk of increasing infections in the season of holiday end.
