Protest for Klodian Racan, police accompanied over 100 protesters under 20 years of age

According to what was communicated from the blue uniforms, for some of them criminal proceedings will be launched in a free state, while there are a high number of protesters who are being verified through film footage and who are expected to be accompanied further by police.

On Friday it was the third evening to protest in Tirana over the murder of Klodian Rashi by police.

This time police reform was urged and the resignation of General Director Ardi Veliu.

The protest was warned to take place before the prime minister, but protesters were not allowed to meet there after police used water with pressure and tear gas, Euronews.al reports.

They then addressed the Interior Ministry and the Tirana Police Directorate.

Police then engaged the Eagle Forces and the Fast Intervention Forces.

For about three hours the situation remained the same, groups of protesters tried to rally, and police workers, who quickly distributed it with water and tear gas.

The gun, mainly of young people, comes after 8 December a police officer shot 25-year-old Klodian Rasa, who was moving beyond the allowed 10 o'clock.

On Friday, the police officer faced the charges of killing “in overcoming the necessary defence boundaries” and was placed in the measure “prison arrest”.

The case remains under investigation, claiming that Rasa was armed and threatened the police before being shot.
