According to a media report, they say that if their payments are not paid at this end of the year, they will see the possibility of taking more radical measures in order to realise their rights.
Police have said that the commitment to preventing COVIID-19 continues further “and that the tasks and tasks of every police official are increased, while reforming the right to the police official was neither a priority of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, and it seems to be still not”.
Full announcement:
The Kosovo Police Union at the meeting, held on the date 22.12.20 in Pristina, has praised the work of police officials who were engaged all year long first in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, even in spite of the numerous commitments they have under the law.
But at no time and in no form has it stopped from accomplishing its objectives, even after many recent attacks on Kosovo Police members, has also accomplished its duties stemming from the measures, whether the Government of Kosovo's decisions concerning the prevention of COVID-19 in implementing anti-law. - CO VID.
The government of the Republic of Kosovo is aware that police officials were infected with COVID-19, where, in addition to suffering from the disease, there were tremendous expenses. Kosovo police have so far lost 12 police officials from COVID-19 and over 1,400 infected, even though they were at the forefront of the war in preventing this disease that is and continues to be a burden to the whole world.
The commitment to preventing COVID-19 continues further, and as the tasks and jobs of every police official increase and increase, while establishing the right to the police official was neither a priority of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, and apparently continues to be absent.
And just for this for us as Kosovo Police Unions, at the meeting, held on the date 22.12.2020, requires the realisation of the fundamental rights of Kosovo Police officials as well as civilian staff in the Kosovo Police, ahead of the country's laws and described in government decisions and pledges promised at the recent meetings.
The Kosovo Police Union reminds the country's government that paying the emergency package, paying the law-based food and working hours depending on time on weekends and holidays, as well as paying the night's shift to be the priority of the country's executive for this year, for all police officials and civil staff, and not to be expectations in practice, since in no way will we allow these demands to be delayed as always.
Do not pay them will push the Kosovo Police Union to see even at the end of this year the possibility of taking more radical measures in order to realise their rights.
So we expect and are convinced that the acting prime minister and the incumbent Minister MPB will take these KP members' demands, which meet you with full justice under current and realised laws.
