Petkov on visit to Kosovo gives big promises to Serbs

Petkov visited the House of Culture in Zubin Potok and the gallery where an exhibition currently being held titled “Gracanica in the colors of the next century”.
After the visit, Petkov said Serbia's state will continue with investments in Kosovo, remembering that Serbia has invested more than 65 million dinars in the House of Culture in Zubin Potok.
“Besides the desire to survive and stay here in Kosovo and Metohija to build our future, we want our people in Serb communities here in Kosovo and Metohija to develop into absolutely all areas of spiritual life, and for that reason we will pay great attention to the culture here in Zubin Potok, as well as to all Serb communities in Kosovo and Metohi”, Petkov said.
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija says that since 2014, 1,512,552,338 dinars have been invested in building facilities in Kosovo for a total of 654 residential units within 30 residential buildings.
Of this, 247.7 million have been invested in Zubin Potok for a total of 61 housing units.
This visit by Petkov caused debate yesterday. The Kosovo government said it has issued permission for the visit, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs remained indifferent and did not respond.
Prior to the evening, Sqaheraj chairman Bekim Jashari reacted by saying he was unaware of the visit. He apologized to the citizens for this.
