“We are used to Serbia being the main target of attacks during any election campaign in Pristina, but no one's political ambitions should be above the health and life of people,” said the director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government.
Petkov has also mentioned 1,000 tests that were sent to Kosovo at the beginning of the pandemic.
“Coronavrus does not recognise someone's ethnic origin, which is well understood by Serbia, which, at the recommendation of President Aleksandar Vuči, is trying to provide enough vaccines for other communities in Kosovo, after we donated 1,000 tests to P. CR Public Health Institute in Pristina. We have the obligation to provide enough vaccines for all citizens, without exception,” said Petkoviq away.
He says it is unintelligible for someone to put politics on the preservation of life and that at a time when the whole world is struggling with an pandemic like the coronary.
Serbia and its president, Aleksandar Vuciq, will always put public good on daily politics. Serbia is proud that we were the first in the region and the second in continental Europe to begin immunization, because time is the crucial factor in this plague,” was quoted as saying Petkov.
This reaction comes a day after the government headed with Avdullah Hotin warned investigations into the launch of the vaccine in the north.
