Pal Lekaj: Good idea of the table, there we would show why Haradinaj must become president

The first of LDK's Isa Mustafa said there is no readiness of political parties for a joint table to negotiate about resolving the president's post issue, which, according to Mustaf, is leading us towards new elections. To this statement, Paul Lekaj of AAKA reacted by saying [...]
To that statement, Paul Lekaj of AAKA reacted, saying his party never mentioned that they were not ready for a joint table with party leaders.
According to Lekaj, such a table would enable his party to present the reasons in detail why Ramush Haradinaj thinks should be president of the Republic of Kosovo.
We as the Alliance never said we were willing to sit at a table with other party leaders to talk about the president's issue, even such a table would enable us to present our reasons in detail why we think Ramush Haradinaj should be president of the Republic of Kosovo”, Lekay said in a response to Periscope
Lekaj said it is not Haradinaj as the cause of going to the election because, according to him, the president's election can be made even without the AAK, “Let them agree among themselves and elect President”, he added.
“Are we going to the polls only because of the insistence that Ramush Haradinaj be president? No, never. Today at this point, the Alliance's political power in the Kosovo assembly translates into 15 votes. There are also 105 other votes in the country, but it's still needed for the president's election, so they can elect the president without us. Let them agree and select President”, he added.
The AAK already according to Lekaj has already started preparations for the election, as he says, “in most municipalities, the Alliance has already appointed candidates for municipal mayors, as well as in most municipalities have been chosen candidates for municipal assemblies, which is an indicator factor that the Alliance is consolidated in all its branches”, he told Periscope
“Aleance is always ready for elections, we are very well consolidated in party structures. In most municipalities, the Alliance has already appointed candidates for mayors, as well as in most municipalities, candidates for municipal assembly have also been elected, which is an indicator factor that the Alliance is consolidated in all its branches. As for the president's case, perhaps other parties have prejudiced because of the early nomination by ours. Haradinaj for president of the state, but we have done this in order to be as transparent as possible in this process, in front of our partners, the opposition and all citizens. We stand behind the decision we have taken as a party, to have presidential candidate Ramush Haradinaj, but that does not mean that other parties do not have the right to nominated their candidates for president”, said in the statement given on Periscope/Periscope
