Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani's post, at the same time chairwoman of the Kosovo Assembly on a two-day visit to Albania, has met with Albanian Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruchin.
Osmani has asked counterpart Ruci for Albania's Assembly to take a stand for Serbia's crimes in Kosovo.
The example of the Kosovo Assembly, which has adopted a Resolution, with which the sentence of Serbian genocide in Kosovo is required. Today dialogue with Serbia is still unfinished, we are determined to dialogue only for mutual recognition, respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the state, recognizing and accepting the territory's invisibility, constitutional regulation and the level of political organisation. Kosovo cannot reward Serbia with its territory, nor with other concessions, for the genocide policy Serbia has towards us. Serbia must repent, apologise and be punished. Not to be rewarded”, U.d. stated. President Osmani.
According to a presidency communique, Osmani has stressed Kosovo's role in co-operation with Albania's country, so it has sought support and sharing of experiences in the European integration process.
“We need to increase co-operation and co-ordination between the two countries in the function of interparliamental exchanges and development of parliamentary diplomacy”, Mrs. Osmani has indicated.
