Today, the strike has joined his deputy, Mentor Sejdiu.
With the demands of increasing night shifts pay, extra hours' pay and work around weekends, and pay for risk at work, they are on strike warning they will not stop until their demands are met.
Sejdiu has said that from today he has joined the hunger strike.
Noting the determination of Secretary Enlirat K. Duraku, who despite the initial health problems, remains loyal to the demands of nurses, from today I have decided to join the hunger strike until the application was met with Secretary Duraku”, he wrote on his social facebook network.
Duraku, meanwhile, has written today that despite the health problems he has, he will not stop until the Health Minister, Armend Zemaj and the Kosovo University Clinical Hospital Service meet their demands.
