Important notification for exiles living in Slovenia

According to the decree of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia that entered into force on December 25th 2020, some significant changes have been made in terms of entry into the Republic of Slovenia, under measures to prevent the spread of Ovid-19.

Among other things, there are fewer exemptions during the introduction without quarantine or negative test, the validity of a negative test decreases to 24 hours, only apply to tests PCRs conducted in EU member states or in the Schengen Zone.

High-risk SRS-CoV-2 infection countries are listed on the red list. Kosovo is also on this list.

A person coming from a country on the red list is ordered to quarantine for ten (10) days due to possible SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Disfellowshipping without quarantine and a negative test The PCR is valid for people travelling the Transit through the Republic of Slovenia and releasing the territory of the Republic of Slovenia no later than 6 hours after the entry.

The conclusion of quarantine

Citizens of the Republic of Slovenia, who have been ordered to quarantine at the time of entry into Slovenia, can take the test on the fifth day (5) after being sent to quarantine at home. The person doesn't need to inform anyone about this, but in case of possible control (Police, Z) The IRS, or NIJZ), will have proof of a confirmation (showing the date sent to quarantine) and a negative test test for SARS-CoV -2 (where the test date and the result should be clear).
