During this week, the number of citizens who have proved positive with COVIED-19 have declined compared to past weeks, but in the Pomology Clinic, 88 patients are currently receiving treatment.
So has made it known about Kosova priss, omnologist from Pulmology Clinic Besim Morina, who said they are already waiting for these patients to be transferred to other COVID clinics for treatment to be learned.
He said that with citizens who are stretched out and positive with coronarys, there are citizens in this clinic who, although having passed this virus, are continuing their treatment in Pulmology because their condition is severe and they need oxygen.
“As far as the number of patients is concerned, right now we have 88 patients laid down in the Pulmology Clinic, some of them are positive but they've been negative when they've been admitted, suspicious to say they're better tested positive and are expected to pass to other COVID clinics. The rest, however, are other patients who have been positive but who have proved negative but whose condition is too serious to stay at home so they need great oxygen and stay with the clinic even further”, Morina stressed.
Morina has said that they are currently well supplied with oxygen and medical medications that are necessary to treat patients with COVID-19.
He said there have been cases where there was a shortage of fraxiparina but that they are actually well supplied with this bar, which is used to treat patients with a more serious condition.
Now we're better off last week. It's just started that we didn't have oxygen problems first. And we're also better with medicine, so many of the drugs given at the clinic, we've ruled out some of the essential drugs that we have problems with drugs. Finally we have a problem with a drug that is given as an anticoaglant that is given to prevent the trombone, it's fraxipara, kleksan or drugs that are used a lot in treating heavy patients with COVID and which, hopefully, is missing not only in Kosovo, but also in the region due to a great demand...we currently have reservations”, he said.
In the last 24 hours, at the lab of Mactic Microbiology at IKSC and private labs with RT- The PCR, a total of 1,42442 samples taken by the SSKKUK and tracking ground case contacts, resulting in 385 positive cases. Within 24 hours 7 cases of SARS deaths were reported CoV-2 positive.
