The Special Court has announced yesterday that the indictment against KLA's OVL leaders Hysni Gucatit and Nasim Haradinaj has been confirmed.
Once the indictment was confirmed, Nasim Haradinaj was in advance to appear before Special today at 1500 hours. But in the Special Chambers Channel, it is not designed to hold this session today.
“With confirmation of the indictment, Gucati and Haradinaj have the status of indictees before Kosovo's Specialised Chambers, and now the phase of their preliminary procedure begins, starting with their pre-” presentations, the court reports.
The charges presented in the confirmed indictment rely on well-based suspicion that at least between September 7th and 25th 2020, Gucati and Haradinaj uncovered without authorisation protected information from the Specialised Chambers Law, including identifying data of several witnesses (possibly), in three press conferences and other broadcast activities, as well as further distribution involving statements on social networks.
On 25 September, Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj were arrested by EULEX at the orders of the Special Court.
