The 2m-long wooden penis seems to have been torn up during the weekend, the Allgaeuer Zeitung newspaper reported.
The statue stood there for years, on the Grinten Mountains south-west of Munich.
Now, all that remains is a small stump and a little wooden trove, reports the BBC, translates Periscope.
It is not known who put the sculpture into question, which had become an attractive place for tourists.
Even online map service, Google Maps, has recognised the sculpture statue by setting it as <x0).
One theory was that the sculpture was an unwanted birthday gift. /Periscope
