Musliu: If VV is an Albanian party, we don't have red lines for it

The MP of the Republic of Kosovo, from the PDK ranks, Ganimete Musliu, says the party he belongs to has no red lines for any Albanian political party, including Vetevendosje Movement.
MP Musliu says that despite that in the PDK so far, no pre-election and post-election coalitions have been discussed.
The Democratic Party has never set red lines. The PDK, its eternal coalition, is with Kosovo citizens. We will each be guarantees for a state of integrity, a state of complete sovereignty, and a state where each citizen of the Republic of Kosovo will feel dignified. We will never set red lines for anyone, and if even the Vetevendosje Movement is the Kosovo Albanian party, then that means that the Vetevendosje Movement applies to the same rules and we make no exception. But so far, as a political party and as a decision-making organisational structure, we don't have the topic or discussion of coalitions either pre-election or even after election, for forming the Government of the Republic of Kosovo”, Musliu says.
Musliu says the PDK is the only one who has adhered to its principles, claiming that it has become a model for other parties.
The Kosovo Democratic Party has already started to turn into a model of how democratic parties should function in an independent state in recent years. I say that because a year ago we had elections in Kosovo and all political parties set red lines against the Democratic Party of Kosovo, it was the only PDK that was against red lines for Kosovo Albanian political parties. Now in these elections that all parties are being offered, in each television studio, on each presentation say red lines are useless and will not be a priority for any party. That means they have learned from the past, and the Democratic Party has given a lecture to other parties”, Musliu says.
Musliu says offers for potential coalitions will be based on ideas and visions, while inviting the electorate not to vote with resentment but to be guided to parties that have yielded results and created stability in the country.
As he adds that these elections, Kosovo is found more destabilised and uncertain than ever before.
Our co-operation, no matter what offers we have, or whether we give them, we'll base them on programs, vision and ideas. We will not invite the electorate to vote with resentment and inertation, but our electorate and the citizens of Kosovo should eventually concentrate and navigate those parties that have produced results, in parties that have created stability in the country. Unfortunately, these elections, Kosovo find it more destabilised than ever, and more uncertain than ever,”, Musliu says.
And for all the positive results of the PDK, Musliu credits two former leaders -- Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselin -- for whom he says they have been an example of team work, a tradition that this party is continuing on even at this time when its leaders are in The Hague. /B. Hajdari/
