Excavations for the remains of people killed during the recent war in Kosovo are continuing in Kizevac, Serbia, despite difficult atmospheric conditions and inadequate terrain.
Working groups have announced that they have already discovered mortor remains, which are suspected of being Albanian killed during the war.
The Kosovo delegation's co-ordinator for missing persons, Ibrahim Makolli, says that a great contribution to the processing group in Kizevac has been satellite images provided by the US Department.
According to Makolli, Serbian authorities know exactly where the mass cemetery is.
“The accuracy of the cemetery location has been made thanks to satellite images provided by the US State Department through the International Red Cross Committee. Our teams are already in position. As known, human remains have already emerged in that country”, declared for RTV Dukagjin, Ibrahim Makolli.
Meanwhile, Law Medicine Institute Director Edsim Gerjaliu, who is closely following the works in Kizevac, Serbia, shows that mortore waste has begun to emerge.
Gerjaliu says co-operation has been correct with Serbian authorities under the signed memorandum.
“Mortore waste has emerged. Bone parts are also beginning to emerge. For the moment after leaving the soil, we can say that approximately three people have emerged... cooperation is correct. It is also at the center of the memorandum that we respect when we face similar cases where there are persons of Serbian nationalism”, said Arsim Gerjaliu, in attendance on Telegrafi.
While the representative of the Association of Family Members of Unemployed Persons Bajram Qerkeyni, is not seeing enough will from the Serbian side to whitewash the fortunes of the found. Even according to him, they only obey because of satellite images.
“Woely after five years, with satellite images it had to convince Belgrade's leadership where troops have left”, Bajram Qerkeyni said.
Long ago, Serbian diplomacy chief Ivica Dacic expressed outrage at the Serbian people showing where Albanian troops are hiding.
