LDK MP Rock Manaj is of the opinion that political parties, position and opposition should not let the country fall into an institutional crisis on the president's issue, therefore says the PDK is obliged to become involved in the Hoti Government.
The president is in charge of all parliamentary political forces sitting down and selecting him. The way the Constitution of our country is built has determined to have a broad consensus, and along with the agreement for the president, we should see a more comprehensive agreement guaranteeing even a governing stability of our country. If we are before these challenges, the PDK must have its role, I also think that Vetevendosje should have it, but they are already barricaded to want to go to the polls immediately. And the PDK is obliged not only to be part of the deal for the president, but also to be part of a ruling coalition. So they owe it if they want stability at this stage”.
Each parliamentary political subject must be cautious in these difficult times. The country is facing pandemic, economic issues, special arrests, dialogue. We have entered a process of both political and constitutional to elect President”.
The “belongs to party leaders, our leader Isa Mustafa, to invite all parliamentary political subjects. There were statements that had conversations between parties even before Thaci resigned. It's time to start conversations between political forces because deadlines are running”.
Manaj has said the LDK is ready for elections if co-operation is not established.
If we fail to negotiate by early February, we have to sit down and agree on the election date. We think it's not the moment of party positions. It is not good for any subject at this stage to give proposals”.
Manaj believes the new elections will not produce solutions and says Vetevendosje, for which he said has been equipped for elections, should take into account.
The “is hard to form a parliamentary majority. We will come to a moment when the country will be in institutional and constitutional crisis and that each party should know. What we're going through is the biggest challenges the country has had since 1999 and we don't have to create a crisis.
