In a communiqué for media, the LDK has said that out of 94 members of the General Council, 92 have voted in favour, 1 against and 1 abstention.
Honored members, activists and LDK supporters, out of 94 members of the LDK General Council who have participated in the vote, nine and two (92) have voted for the LDK's chairmanship proposal, which Mr. Avdullah Hoti be our candidate for prime minister in the upcoming parliamentary elections, one (1) has voted against and one (1) has abstained. The General Council, with the necessary majority of votes, defines Mr. Avdullah Hoti for candidate for prime minister in the upcoming extraordinary” elections, the communiqué says.
