Kosovars love Erdogan, Merkel, Serbian Putin

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are the most popular personalities in Kosovo Albanians, while Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to be liked by Serbs in the country.
So says the Annual poll on international policies and Kosovo dialogue- Serbia, presented by the Pristina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS), writes Telegrafi.
The world's favourite <x0) leadership of Kosovo citizens is German Chancellor Angela Merkel by about 66 percent, while Turkey's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, ranks as the second preferred world leader, with about 14 percent. Within the Serb community, Russian President Vladimir Putin's favourite leader is evidently, with about 74 percent”, the poll said.
According to the PIPS, in terms of Kosovars' perceptions of partner states, it turns out the United States of America is listed as Kosovo's main partner in the international arena.

Also, citizens say NATO has been the organisation that has mostly assisted Kosovo.
“About 70 percent estimate that NATO is the international organisation that has helped Kosovo most since 1999, leaving the European Union behind at about 9 percent”, the report said.
Those surveyed say Russia and China are the two states that, with their actions at least contributing to world peace efforts.
Asked which major states behave best in relation to other states within the international system, thus contributing mostly to global peace efforts, respondents have chosen Germany first, the US to second place and Great Britain to third place. According to respondents, China and the Russian Federation are the two states that, with their actions at least contributing to world peace efforts”, the report concludes.
The poll provides data on perceptions in relation to international policy and regional and global actors, including international states and organisations.
