Johnson tried to talk to Merkel and Macron about Brex

The prime minister of Great Britain, Boris Johnson, has tried to contact the phone with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and France's president, Emmanuel Macron, to discuss reaching the final agreement on Brex. He had attempted to deliver these calls Monday prior to his meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Brussels, broadcasts Klan Kosova.
A senior European Union official confirmed that Johnson had made the demands for both calls but that they were rejected, because all talks on Brex should be made through the European Commission.
This Johnson effort to bypass the European Commission had been criticised by EU circles, including the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, writes Euronews.
