The topic of the talks will be the trade agreement after Brexit, where Great Britain officially gave up the EU.
On December 31st, it will expire the period of Britain's evacuation of the European Union, meaning that British authorities will not trade according to European bloc rules.
The two officials are expected to negotiate at dinner, since talks among officials committed to the issue have not resulted successfully.
Key differences concern fishing rights, competition rules and the policy of the deal.
Johnson is initially said to participate in the regular session of Britain's Parliament, where questions are asked to the prime minister before leaving in the Belgian capital.
A government source has told the BBC that progress achieved at the political level may allow the resumption of negotiations between British representative Lord Frost and EU representative Michel Barnier.
If they disagree, both sides will do business according to World Trade Organisation rules, which would therefore apply tariffs in each other's imports.
Britain's EU exit decision has come after 52 per cent of voters have voted for Britain's EU exit 48 per cent who have rejected it in the referendum held in 2016.
