Chairman of the United Trade Union for Education, Science and Culture ( Niteman Jasharaj, in a statement on Telegrafii, said the programme has largely been realised.
The “Plan program may have been implemented to a considerable extent, as at the very beginning the content of the program has been reduced, and I believe that the teachers within the means have managed to realise a large part of the” program, Jasharaj said.
As for lost classes, Jasharaj says it has been proposed that spring break be avoided and that the end of the year be extended.
The “has been proposed and the parties have probably agreed that at the beginning of the second half anniversary, spring break there will be no, but that it will be a learning process, maybe the school year will be extended for some day. The SBASK supports any engagement in agreement with us without hurting Kosovo's teachers to better implement the learning process in this school year”, he said.
According to the Education and Science Ministry's decision, the first half anniversary will be completed on December 18, 2020, while the holiday will last a month until January 18th, 2021.
We point out that by the beginning of the new school year, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology had developed a Master Plan for teaching under pandemic conditions.
During the first half anniversary of the school year by coronavirus, a considerable number of teachers and students have been infected. Schools that have had confirmed cases of coronavirus have passed on to maintaining online learning.
