From today, Italy is back in the red zone for the last 6 days of deadlock until January 4th.
As it did for Christmas, the New Year will also be under special surveillance by police engaged in raids not only on roads and highways, but also on the internet to capture efforts to organise illegal meetings.
The goal is to avoid dangerous gatherings, especially on the eve of the New Year when the ban, which usually ends at 05 a.m., will be extended until seven o'clock on January 1st.
The restrictions will be those already prepared on Christmas week, from 24 December to 27 December, with the ban on travel except to visit friends or relatives, to a maximum of two (and every child under 14 or disabled persons) and only once a day.
Always paying attention to the absolute ban on movement during the hours of the ban - starting at 22: 00 p.m., if not for experienced work, health, or urgent need.
The violators risk fines that could range from 400 to 10,000 euros.
A maximum of two non-cooperatives can be accommodated at home, always excluding children under 14.
For this reason, police will impose stricter controls, especially on cars with more than two passengers.
