Import prices in the country mark up by 0.3 percent

Through a media communique, it becomes known that Kosovo's overall import prices index was raised by 0.3% in the third quarter of this year, compared to the second quarter.
“More price increases according to sectors were in: the skin and its articles (6.1%); the transport tools (3.5%); the minerals (1.9%); the optical, photographic, metre, Manicine and musical instruments, as well as the clock mechanisms (1.9%); the shoes (1.5%); the basic metals and their articles (1.4%); the equipment and electrical equipment (1.2%); the food items prepared, drink and tobacco (0.7%); and the various products produced (07%) were said in computers.
The upgrade is said to be neutralised mainly by falling prices according to sectors: plant products (-9.0%); textile and its products (-3.1%); paper and articles (-2.4%); nutrients (-2.1%); plastics, rubbers and their articles (-11%); living animals and their products (-0.6%); chemical industry products (-04%); and stone articles, mortars, rubber products and glass (02%).
Meanwhile, compare TM3 2020, with TM3 2019, import prices suffered a decline in an average of (2.3%). The larger declines in sectors were in: mineral products (-17.7%); textile and its articles (-14.1%); their basic metals and their articles (-2.9%); its letters and articles (-0.4%); chemical industry products (-0.2%); and their livestock and products (-0.1%).
The decline was neutralised, mainly by the raising of prices according to sectors: transportation tools (5.3 %); the skin and its articles (5.0%); shoes (4.9%); plant products (4.0%); machine equipment and electrical equipment (2.2%); optical instruments, photography, measurements, Manicines and musicals, as well as the mechanisms of the clock (1.7%); food items prepared, drinks and tobacco (1.0%); plastics, rubber and their articles (1.4%); stone items, metal products, glass and glass products (0%) and various articles.
