IK KPS: 6 cases of death, 309 new cases with COVID-19

The National Institute of Public Health has reported on the 24-hour epidemiological situation, where 6 patients have died, while 309 cases have resulted in positive with COVID-19.

Death cases are 1 out of Ferizaj municipality, Gjakova 1, Obilic, Pristina, Prizren and Suhareka.

IK The KPS has announced that 1,000 and 287 samples have been received from the SSKUK and contact tracking.

While 546 people recovered from COVID-19 were registered.

In the last 24 hours, in the lab of molecular microbiology at IKKPK and private labs with RT- The PCR, a total of 1,287 samples taken by the SSKKUK and tracking ground case contacts, resulting in 309 positive cases.

Six cases of death with SARS reported within 24 hours CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Ferizaj 1 case (54), Gjakova 1 case (69), Obilic 1 case (79), Pristina 1 case (77), Prizren 1 case (80) and Suhareka 1 case (58 years).

The total number of positive cases is 49,866 cases of 175,052 suspected persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,290 deaths.

During the last 24 hours, 546 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 38,118, while the number of active cases is 10,478.

The positive cases are from the municipalities: Pristina 110 cases, Mitrovica 42 cases, Prizren 25 cases, Obilic 12 cases, Podujevo 12 cases, Ferizaj 11 cases, Vushtari 9 cases, Drenas 8 cases, Fushe-Kosovo 8 cases, Malishev eight cases, Gjakova 7 cases, Istog 7 cases, Kacanik 7 cases, Lipjan 7 cases, Peja 6 cases, Sceptreaj 6 cases, Suke 6 cases, Kamnica 4 cases, Klo 2, Rave and a case from the municipality, Dragash and ZObong.

The IKSC appeals to all citizens to come to test at SARS-CoV-2 according to epidemiological indicators, at all regional public health centres in Kosovo.
