Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has made it known that scenarios are being prepared for the necessary measures for the holiday season, when there is greater attendance of citizens, including the arrival of fellow countrymen.
Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, speaking of the situation with COVID-19 in our country, has said that in the past two weeks, as a result of measures imposed by the government, it has managed to reduce cases active for about 15%, until it has added that we will monitor the situation and monitor the implementation of measures.
According to him, health institutions will remain mobilised. While, he has announced that they are preparing scenarios for the necessary measures for the holiday season when there is greater citizens' attendance, including the arrival of fellow countrymen.
Hoti has written on Facebook that the subject of patients is today 874, extended to clinics in Pristina and to regional hospitals.
While stopping by the situation in schools, it wrote that data shows that out of about 11 thousand teachers who have been tested, 15% have proved positive, while about 7 thousand students tested 17% have resulted positive.
That, according to him, is why the Government's decision to close schools on December 18th.

- COVID GEATER
By the beginning of the pandemic, about 162,000 cases have been tested, out of which about 46 thousand (28%) have resulted positive. About 70% of those affected by the virus have recovered. Unfortunately, the fatality has ended 1,186 cases. The mortality rate is 2.5%.
Health institutions have done their best during this time. Their recommendation remains the same: for respect of physical distance measures, for wearing the mask, for added cleanliness. The other road does not have until a considerable portion of the population is vaccinated.
In the past two weeks, as a result of measures imposed by the Government in consultation with health professionals, active cases have been managed to drop for about 15%. The number of infected for 100,000 inhabitants has dropped from 257 to 100 cases. But the situation remains serious and we are obliged to maintain measures, since the sources of infection are everywhere, especially in the environments where there is a collection of citizens.
Out of the assessment made last Friday, 16 municipalities are in the red zone, 9 are in the yellow zone and 13 in the green zone.
Compared to the preliminary week, in 5 municipalities there are improvements and they have gone from the red zone to the yellow zone (Peje, Vushtrri, Shtime, Ferizaj and Year). Meanwhile, 7 municipalities have improved from the yellow area to the green area (Cline, Hani of Elez, Skenderaj, Partesh, Rahovec, Prizren and Ranillug.)
To control our situation, we must respect the measures. In effect, we have decided to complete the first half anniversary of the school on December 18th. This will significantly lower citizens' attendance. This measure is also based on the fact that, along with doctors and nurses, as well as police officers, who are mostly infected after having direct contact, teachers are also quite affected. The data shows that out of the approximately 11 thousand educators who have been tested, 15% have resulted positive, while some 7 thousand tested students have proved positive. That is why the Government's decision to close schools on December 18th.
Until January 18, 2021, when schools open again, our hospitals will be less burdened to cope with the influx of patients seeking hospital services.
We must preserve our health system. We're making maximum effort to cope with the flow of patients affected by COVID. Therefore, at the recommendation of the IKSHP and relevant international organisations, we must maintain measures and strengthen oversight of their implementation. We have to avoid the virus's distribution meetings, such as public gatherings, different ceremonies, etc. In particular, basic measures are to be respected - physical distance, mask, and purity of hands, and not wave greeting.
- VAK SINA ANTI- COVID
We're working hard on securing the vaccine. We are part of the COVAX coalition and expect to receive vaccines for 20% of the population. On the other hand, the minister of health is in contact with the vaccine producer, and we are working with partner countries to seek direct support from them.
IK The EPS is working on providing the necessary technical equipment for storage and distribution of vaccines in all municipalities. The institute has prepared the vaccine plan, setting the elderly and chronically ill citizens ahead of the health workers that are at the forefront of the battle.
- STITAL GENGE
All health staff have been mobilised and are doing an extraordinary job. The number of patients today is 874, extended to clinics in Pristina and to regional hospitals. We must give them all necessary institutional support (which we are doing) and moral and public. Criticals directed at them are inappropriate and unacceptable. Only those who have faced the virus and requested hospital services understand what our doctors and nurses are doing. Of course, there are technical problems with adequate beds and adequate access, or full supply of drugs, or difficulties in oxygen supply. But these professionals are doing huge work for about a year without interruption.
Despite this situation, the SHSKUK is doing its best to provide basic health services. According to data, as of September alone, 93 thousand patients lying in hospitals have been treated, 21 thousand operations have been conducted, 726 thousand daily ambulance visits have been offered, 2.1 million laboratory services have been performed, 195 thousand radiological services have been performed, 90 thousand dialys and full of other services.
- PRESHICE AND RELIGION WRITER IN THE WEEKS WRITER IN VIYIM
We will monitor the situation and monitor the implementation of the measures. We will work closely with municipalities and with all groups to seek co-operation and respect for the measures. In this case, I want to thank the citizens for respecting the masses and beg them to respect the advice of doctors.
Health institutions will remain mobilised. We are preparing scenarios for the necessary measures for the holiday season when there is greater attendance of citizens, including the arrival of fellow countrymen.
We're going to work hard on getting the vaccine as fast as possible.
We need every citizen's support to win this battle.
