Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has spoken in the Kosovo Assembly, where the Economic Regeneration Bill is expected to be voted.
Hoti before the deputies has said the package proposed by the Kosovo government is among the largest in the region.
He said that from measures taken so far by the government, the effect of stopping businesses from the market has been achieved.
“Based on the IMF, the first package in relative terms, our recovery package is one of the largest. As far as we have been able, we have achieved two effects, preventing businesses from leaving the market, and families falling under the poverty threshold. Today's law creates new momentum. So starting from a credit insurance fund scheme, hundreds of millions of euros being covered by funds where the government is a huge contributor. Much goes to agriculture. The withdrawal of 10% from the Trust -- more than 200m euros in the family budget. All of these vehicles were all loaded. Using means from the Privatisation Fund to finance the fund for economic recovery. Then tax extension for two years”, he said.
He thanked The PDK, which it said their amendments enriched the law.
“are opposition ambassadors, The PDK that I want to thank for their support. I've invited both parties, and I think these referenda have enriched this law”, he said.
Hoti also said that it is intended that a large portion of the funds be distributed before the new year.
