The Serbian list is not actively participating in the Kosovo Assembly sessions. Even this party is not providing votes to either the executive or his own part, for passing laws and bills. Prime Minister Hoti, who before the media said he would address some related issues about this party, has reacted to this matter.
But from the prime minister's office they are saying this political subject is contributing to the work of the Government of Kosovo.
The Serbian “List is part of the ruling coalition and is contributing to the work of the Government of Kosovo. Prime Minister Hoti has regular communication with all coalition partners, while communications on a daily/week basis with ministers and deputy prime ministers”, has said of Express, Government spokeswoman Antigona Bayzak.
However, from the government, they confirmed for Express that they are under consideration for some of the frustrations of the Serbian List.
“We are aware that there are some disappointments from the Serbian List, which are under consideration and we believe that we will soon reach compatibility”, she has said further about Express.
From the LDK, which has the highest executive post, is saying it is still early to talk about the Serbian List because there is no performance measurement. According to Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri, only Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti is the one who on behalf of the LDK can assess the work of this political subject.
“We haven't made any performance measurements yet. Only the prime minister on behalf of the LDK is the one who can assess and measure the performance of political parties, including the Serbian List”, has declared LDK deputy chairman for Express.
The behaviours of the Serbian List in Government and those at the Kosovo Assembly, according to Alliance for the Future of Kosovo member Rasim Selmanaj, are not new. He told Express that this political subject has done the same in other mandates.
The Serbian “List has always been brought this way and is not only the issue of this mandate but also the other mandates. The Serbian list is obliged to take part in the Assembly because it thus defines the mandate. It should also be part of the law vote that is of the interest of citizens, that is, a duty all parliamentary groups have”, Rasim Selamanaj said for Express.
In the meantime, from the Social Democrat Initiative, they are praising that the Serbian List has not yet abolished Belgrade, and as such it has never created governmental stability. So stated yesterday at T7, Initiative official Bekim Brestovci.
Of course, Serbian List deputies have never created a government stability. However, we are witnesses that often our governments are put in such a situation when they must create 61 numbers, including in the Serbian List. This party has not removed the domination from Belgrade, but continues to keep such a relationship behind it. I think this party will continue to have the interest, not to have Kosovo's stability, but to the instability of Kosovo, so its current behaviour is not something that should surprise us”, he said on the Frontal Programme.
We remember that on June 3rd of this year agreement has been reached on forming the current government in the middle of LDK, AAK, Initiatives and the Serbian List, where Avdullah Hoti was placed at the top.
