Germany gives Kosovo 72m euros

Bajrami in this case has said that thanks to this deal Germany gives Kosovo 72.1m euros, of which 34m euros are grants.
“We just signed the economic co-operation framework agreement, which amounts to a 72.1m-euro bailout for 2020-2021. Of these tools, 34m euros are grants that are for various institutions and projects, which will more effectively improve the quality of citizens in a substantial way”, Bajrami said, submits Telegrafi.
She said that since the post-war, German taxpayers for Kosovo have provided 730m euros.
We thank all German taxpayers for their contribution to Kosovo. The assistance provided amounts to 730m euros since the war, many institutions have raised capacity thanks to aid from Germany”, she said.
And Ambassador Rohde said Germany will continue to be a supporter of Kosovo in each project.
“Germanis the largest bilatheral donor and the largest foreign investor in Kosovo. Germany will continue to support Kosovo on its path to reforms that make it suitable for a future in the European Union. We will continue to invest in sustainable economic development in Kosovo, where we focus on supporting professional education and business development. Germany will also continue with significant investments in Kosovo's public infrastructure, focusing on energy, sewering, and waste treatment”, Rohde said.
