Annie, why Germany is leading with the presidency of the Europin Union, the German ambassador to Pristina has given other bad news to Kosovars, who believed many of Germany would liberalise visas.
Rhode is saying that the EU will not liberalise visas for Kosovo either this year, according to him there are EU member states which oppose visa liberalisation.
We're working on this to happen, but I don't believe this will happen before Christmas”, Rohde told Klein.
Otherwise, Kosovo has met all conditions required by the EU, but it continues its isolation. The two states that oppose visa liberalisation are France and the Netherlands.
