Gerjali: The coalition has failed, but let them be remembered for budget vote

The former head of the Kosovo Economic Ode, Safet Gerjaliu, says that if this ruling coalition wants to be remembered for something good, then the budget must be adopted for 2021 before the dissolution of the Parliament. He says 2020 has been politically failed and that they have a moral obligation to vote on the budget. [...]
He says 2020 has been politically failed and that they have a moral obligation to vote on the budget.
The “Coalation has failed, and if they intend to be remembered for something good in this government then at least it had been a moral obligation to citizens and businesses that before leaving to adopt the budget for 2021”, Gerjaliu said.
The Kosovo Assembly on Monday has called for an extraordinary session, with the budget approved in order. The government Hoti has been toppled on the basis of a Constitutional Court act, after praising that MP Etem Arifi's vote has been invalid, leading the country into the election.
And that will make Kosovo three governments for less than a year.
According to Gerxhaliu, no political stability is damaging the country's image, as well as hindering the arrival of foreign investors.
Kosovo's “Investors in this situation do not come. We have a more poor political and economic diplomacy than ever, and when it is added that within a calendar year we have two governments and three governments to be formed, it best testifies to how important political stability is. Kosovo is being damaged in political, economic and integration terms”, he has said.
