Firing fireworks for holiday season, MPB has a request for citizens

The “in order not to come to the risk of health, fireworks and other pyrotechnic tools should be used only by adults, and also the sale or purchase of adults and by the category that fireworks”, it is said in the MPB's appeal.

MPB has made it known that the use of fireworks and other priotechnic means is allowed from December 26th to January 2nd.

The sale of fireworks and other pyrotechnic tools is allowed from December 19th to December 31st, while using December 26th through January 2nd. Selling, buying and using fireworks is prohibited on public roads, squares, dense buildings and in all closed spaces, near hospitals, in passenger transport vehicles, etc.”, says the MPB.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo to respect legal regulations and to take care of the use of fireworks and other pyrotechnic means during the late holidays of the year.

In order to avoid the risk of health, fireworks, and other pyrotechnics, it must be used only by adults, and also the sale or purchase must be made by adults and by the category of fireworks.

Selling fireworks and other pyrotechnic means is allowed from December 19th to December 31st, while using December 26th to January 2nd.

Selling, buying, and using fireworks is prohibited on public roads, squares, dense buildings, and in all closed spaces, near hospitals, in transportation vehicles, etc.

After buying fireworks and other pyrotechnic tools, consumers should be responsible and ensure that these items are not damaged during transport and at home, decide where the children will not have access.

Citizens pray that before the use of fireworks, instructions for use placed on the product are read.

In this case, the Ministry of Internal Affairs wishes the New Year 2021 to all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
