Fauci believes that between 70 and 75 percent of Americans need to be vaccinated in order to obtain a population.
“At present, we vaccinate those on the front line, who primarily deal with patients, doctors and medical workers, then we go to those belonging to danger groups, but to conclude that everyone can be vaccinated without waiting for priority, I think this will be in March or April 2021<1>, he said.
According to him, it will take a few months for 75% of the population to be vaccinated and that life can return to normality in the fall of next year.
Fauci (80) believes America “is still waiting for the worst” after vacation.
“We can see after Christmas and New Year, a new wave. We are in a very critical situation at the moment and it is difficult to prevent people from gathering on vacation,” he said.
Fauci received the vaccine at the National Institute of Health (NIH), and the whole event was broadcast live on national television as part of an effort to convince Americans that the vaccine is safe and effective.
