For these excavations, Kosovo Delegation for the Pageur Chairman Ibrahim Makolli told Euronews Albania that mortar remains have emerged on the surface.
According to him, it is still early to talk about the number of victims and the area from which they are from.
We've already entered the second week of full examination of the ground at Kizevac's location, which has been addressed since 2015 and ultimately in support of images created by the US department and through this year's International Red Cross Committee, on 16 November, we began to locate the exact location where mass Albanian troops are located.
Kejevac marks the fifth location, the fifth mass cemetery found in Serbia, and there are about 1,000 troops found inside Serbia's territory. We are in the second week of testing the ground where forensic experts from Kosovo are taking part, depending on the weather conditions this week will be decided whether it can be continued or done at a time when we have improved these conditions.
Mortore waste has emerged on the surface, since there is no medical treatment of mortars, we cannot talk about the number of those killed, as well as the location of which parts of Kosovo's territory are”, he said.
Makolli told details about this cemetery, as he said there might be 17 Albanian troops.
This cemetery has an interconnection with the cemetery discovered in 2014, just a few miles from this point, where the bodies of 54 Albanians from the Drenica area were found. The number may be up to 17 people, but until forensic examination is conducted, there cannot be an exact review of”, he said.
