The European Union (BE) and Great Britain have approved talks on a trade agreement for Brex, negotiators of both sides have said.

A senior British Government source has told the BBC that prospects for progress towards this aspect of Brex are moving away.

But a source from Brussels denied that, calling today as important after it was decided to pause negotiations for a period.

Both sides must agree and ratify any agreement by 31 December, when the current trade development rules between the two powers end, the BBC writes.
