In early parliamentary elections, which are expected to be held during Kosovo's pandemic, the vote will also be possible for persons infected with Covid-19, who are in possession.

This will be done through the Central Election Commission teams.

According to the CEC, they will in advance receive voter confirmation if they want to exploit the right to vote and, as a result, “the vote will be enabled by the house”.

Valmir Elezi from the CEC has told TopChannel that the teams will consist of four people; the CEC representative, political party representatives and a health worker.

Based on instructions issued for the November elections for northern Mitrovica and Podujevo mayorship, The CEC should see to it that the polls are disinfected from time to time, prevent the entry of masked persons into internal environments and maintain order and distance.

For all these tasks, the CEC is expected to add support staff that will, in turn, increase the cost of the election process.
