Doctors from the diaspora: Using antibiotics against Avid-19, fatal error

Doctors from the diaspora have a criticism of doctors from Albania and Kosovo for treating patients who are with Covid with antibiotics.

They feel that antibiotic treatment does not help patients but can easily exacerbate their situation, transmit albinfo.ch.

Albanians are using fourth-generation antibiotics to treat the Coronavirus, but this is a fatal mistake.

Of that opinion are Albanian experts working and living in different parts of the world.

The Federation of Albanian Doctors in Europe, led by medical doctor Aurora Dollenberg, headquartered in Germany, has gathered at a virtual conference Albanian doctors around the world to discuss how to treat pandemic.

Doctors have exposed the wrong approach to antibiotics when it is not necessary.

Valbona Selimaj, a pediatre-infectative doctor in Belgium, said during her speech: “in Albania doctors give 4th generation antibiotics, give home oxygen therapy massively”.

She saw this as a serious abuse in the interests of citizens today but also damages their health. “This is an extraordinary abuse, and if you continue for 2 or 3 months in the future, people will die, because we will not have antibiotics to treat a pneumkok”, Selimaj said.

Meanwhile, England's intern doctor, Adrian Fandy, pointed out that such antibiotics should be provided only with the permission of microbiologist after testing. It's crazy, here those antibiotics are very strict, it's crazy to use venous antibiotics at home, as happens in Albania”, Fand said.

What doctors appeal is the symptoms of minor cases. Nazer Ahmeti internist doctor in Hamburg described that the use of antibitics has no effect on the treatment of the user-19 “here we have a viral infection, how do we treat a viral infection with antibiotic? We with antibiotics only treat bacterial infections”

To bring into existence the best practices pursued today in the world for effective treatment of Ccovid-19 to the immunization of the population through the vaccine, the Federation of Albanian Doctors in Europe is drafting a guide. The president of this Federation Aurora Dollenberg said that it is very important that protocols be unified to prevent doctors from administering the wrong medication that burden the health of the population.
