A 50-year-old with symptoms of COVID-19 died yesterday at Prizren Regional Hospital. The victim is Jettullah Qelay of Suhareka's Grinco.
Family has shown that he has been treated with oxygen therapy in this hospital for ten days, but for his death they are blaming health staff for neglect and carelessness.
Yesterday's son of the victim, Dren Qelay, has issued a statement to the media showing how the case happened in detail.
The key said that when his parent's condition deteriorated, he was asked to move him into another room. But according to him, their lack of staff and their delay in moving his father has caused him to die in the hospital elevator.
The case has been reported today by Kosovo Police in the 24-hour report, where it says that the Kosovo male victim, who was in medical treatment at Prizren Regional Hospital since 27.11.2020, has passed away on December 7th.
