Von Croamon has said Kosovo's citizens should be treated equally and the promise of visa removal is held.

Kosovo citizens must have equal access to the Schengen Zone without visas, this issue is in the EU Council for two years now. People in Kosovo are rightly frustrated, so I ask the Council of the European Union to give a signal, a clear timetable and give the green light regarding this decision as soon as possible. This is about keeping our promise in the region”, Cromon said.

The presidency of the European Union Council, currently led by Germany, has not introduced visa liberalisation for Kosovo at the meeting that this important EU decision-making institution will hold today and tomorrow.
