Although workers' wages at this institution are usually issued in the early days of the month, they have not yet been ascribed to the employee's bank accounts, reports Blic newspaper.
Regarding the reason for the non-agreement of wages on employee count and the time when these financial means will arise, Post Chief Gevdet Smakqi spoke.
The Post and Telecom employees don't get their salaries straight for two or three years. The ranks of the Post workers for the operatives and the consumer workers have been taking them by 7 while the rest have not taken them because even the Telekom crisis has caused the delays in payments we have for rent and even the poems in the Pandemia crisis and the revenues and the planning isn't really what we've been planning for 2020. Next week, I believe we're going to execute and I don't think there's any problem”, Smaqi has declared.
Post workers in time of pandemic are facing economic emphasis, but the same situation is not for the management of this institution.
On December 3rd 2020, at the Kosovo Post's Standing Board of Directors was decided to raise salaries of 30%, senior Post officials, which was later canceled following media pressure.
