Court continues detention of suspects for the theft of 2.1 million in Thesar

“Based on your question, we inform you that at the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo indictees L.G has continued detention for even two months from November 19th 2020 to January 18, 2021, and defendants K. The US has also been continuing for two months from November 25th 2020 to January 24th 2021”, the Foundation Court's response reported.
We remember that through an extraordinary media conference, Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami announced the opinion of an unusual theft, she communicated the news that “in the State Treasury was launched”, more than 2m euros.
Without providing much detail, the minister indicated it was about four suspicious transactions from the Treasury, worth about 2.1m euros that had been transferred to an Economic Operator.
So far no additional details have been provided concerning this case by the Special Prosecutor, who is conducting investigations.
