Darko Tasic, this Tuesday, has been sentenced for half-a-year sentence, including detention.
In fact, he was found guilty of the murder, the burning of Albanian civilians, and the firing of their troops on the Drin River, but also the plunder of village property.
Even so, it was not the day the sentence was pronounced, on June 22, of this year, that it was not satisfied.
So they had started protests before the court. Even family members of the slain had not allowed Tasic to leave the court, even fighting the police.
And now, six months later, when the man who committed crimes on Kosovo's civilian population, was sentenced to reduced condemnation, the sculptors say they have lost confidence in Kosovo justice.
“We have always wanted to believe in justice, but today we are very disappointed and indignant by the Kosovo courts”, said Salaam Hoti, head of the village.
Hoti said he will hold meetings with residents of both villages, with whom the next few days will start protests.
