In a Constitutional Statement, it points out that after Thaci has resigned from the post of president and that constitutionality of the president's action was required from the MPs of the Parliament, “Gjykata no longer has a case before itself”.
On March 23rd, a few hours after the Kurti Government had decided on measures to restrict the movement of citizens as a safeguard measure against the coronary, President Thaci had said through an extraordinary conference that the decision was a flagrant violation of the Constitution. He had said that the decision to restrict freedom of movement could be made only by declaring the state of emergency. He had declared that institutions should not implement “unconstitutional decision”.
