The Constitutional Court today is expected to hold an online public session for addressing the Vetevendosje Movement's request for the Government Hoti to be declared unconstitutional because of MP Etem Arifi's vote, convicted of corruption. Arifi was one of 61 deputies who voted for the selection of the Hoti Government, following the dismissal of Albin Kurti government of the Vetevendosje Movement.
And for the latter, the Ashkali Party deputy vote is non-valide for the fact that he has been sentenced to one year and three months in prison for subsidies fraud.
Despite the sentence of the firm form of 2019, Arifi participated in two Assembly hearings on March 25th, voting for the collapse of Kurti Government, while at the June 3rd session his vote was crucial to forming the new government run by Avdullah Hoti of the LDK, which was part of the ruling coalition with Vetevendosje for 50 days.
Meanwhile, during Tuesday's afternoon conference, Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has been asked about today's hearing in the Constitutional session regarding the review of Vetevendosje Movement's request about the constitutionality of the government's election he runs.
And for Hoti, he says he doesn't care if the government he's in charge falls, but who points out that only trouble has management of the situation with COVID-19 pandemic.
