The number of tests for Covid-19 conducted by the National Institute of Public Health in Kosovo has declined markedly, as a result of the citizens' lack of interest in testing.
Citizens no longer express great interest in seeking instructions at the Family Medicine Centers to test.
They also accept it at the Ministry of Health.
A written answer to the news.nets say that interest has fallen until it is called on citizens from the ICHPK to go and test all who have symptoms.
And in the U.S., they say that today a 14 percent drop in positive cases in contrast with last month, where they were about 50 percent.
“Yes, the citizens' interest is down, so they're being called by the ICHPK to go and test those with epidemiological indicators. But it has also dropped % of significant positive cases, today at 14%, as opposed to a month ago when it was around 50%”, it says in the answer of the MSH.
Even the director of the main Family Medicine Centre in Pristina, Rzazart Halili, acknowledges that the interest of citizens seeking instructions for testing at IKSHPK, but that says there is interest in rapid tests being conducted at the KKMF in Pristina.
“We're already doing quick tests with strand, antigen, so rapid tests. On average, 100 tests are being conducted per day. The citizens' interest is greater, as the results are faster. But if we look at it in general, the interest of the citizens, who require instructions to test”, Halili said.
Otherwise, over the last 24 hours, at the Medieval Microbiology Lab at IKKPK and private labs with RT- The PCR, a total of 744 samples taken by the SSKKUK and tracking ground case contacts, resulting in 109 positive cases.
