Citizens from Kosovo's settlement diaspora do not need PCR test

According to the MPJ, the exception is only those who have no residence in Kosovo and who come from high-risk “locations under the European Centre for Prevention and Disease Control (ECDC).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore and the Health Ministry announce our citizens from the diaspora, who have taken the way to Kosovo to spend their holidays, that they do not need to submit to the PCR test.

Citizens from the diaspora can enter within Kosovo territory without being obliged to be tested and have a test PCR negative. The exception only makes those who do not have residence in Kosovo and who come from countries classified by high-risk “” according to the ranking of the European Centre for Prevention and Disease Control (ECDC).

MPJD and MSH suggest that no Kosovo citizen coming to Kosovo, with or without PCR test, is subject to any quarantine or 14-day isolation.

While those who come to Kosovo from high-risk and non-resident states in Kosovo need to stay for seven (7) days in self-isopulation as a measure of prevention against the spread of the virus.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, along with other responsible institutions, will keep you informed of any decision and measures that will be undertaken under the war against Ovid 19. So we ask our citizens from the diaspora to be informed only on official roads about any concern they have.

As we announced days ago, Kosovo embassies are in a state of readiness in this tender period to respond to the call for information or assistance of each citizen of the Republic of Kosovo.

Since the whole world is going through a really challenging period the cause of the David 19 pandemic, we use the opportunity to appeal to our citizens from the diaspora who have taken the way to their homeland, that wherever they are, they respect anti-David measures precisely, to inspire themselves and the family members waiting for them in Kosovo.
