Citizens have little hope in the Law on Economic Recovery

Xhavit Mustafa, who is retired, says of Kosova Prees that this package will not help citizens at all, since he doubts these means will be misused.

The economic recovery package doesn't help citizens at all, they think about some businesses, but businesses in most cases misuse that assistance. And I'm not going where it's dedicated. He says the two governments that have been leading during the pandemic have not done enough for pensioners. The latter have invited them to boycott the upcoming elections.

For pensioners neither the past government nor this government has spoken a word, but the blame is on pensioners who come out and vote in elections. I had suggested that all pensioners in the upcoming elections, which will certainly be in the spring, boycott elections in full”, he adds.

However, someone else in business stresses that they have not had state aid in eight months.

Very little. I've been doing business for eight months. I got nothing. I have no faith... 80 percent of us have been sold”, he points out.

And Menduh Dema from Pristina has been looking forward to voting this package, as he said the citizen would be helped.

This people better ask to give them something, I'm done... If the opinion is good enough to help the people, well it's”, he says.

And for Mehdi Shala this package is delayed, since the effects of pandemic are great.

It's good, but it's delayed, but there's consequences, it's never late. But society is that you don't understand until they found out. Once upon a time we don't have a good job... These tools are dedicated, but now it helps, it cannot give conclusion that it is not shot. When there is no space, maneuvering, the other person needs this”, he says.

Dukagjin Nimani, who has come for vacation from America, says this assistance from Kosovo is not compared to other states, since the same have budgets.

Any economic package is good, I think it somehow has to help me... I don't think Kosovo has enough means to fund all those who need help. That's where I believe it's essence. Developed countries have tools, can divide them, Kosovo has a little bit more heavy on”, he adds.

That law had a total of 18 amendments, four from the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

The latter predict that people who withdraw 10% from the Pension Trust, who have less than 10 thousand euros in this fund, the state will repay the withdrawal amount.
