The Kosovo Banks Association has called on all beneficiaries who have applied for the withdrawal of 10 per cent of the Trust so that after announcing the transfer of tools to their accounts they can use electronic instruments such as e-banking and bank folders to make purchases.
This is because it is not the creation of toll because of the difficult situation with pandemic.
“Anyway, for cases where physical withdrawal of willing money is necessary to beg citizens to use the banking ATM network, which is extended throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and will be available with full capacity. In this form long queues within bank branches will be avoided by preventing the distribution of COVID-19 and unnecessary expectations in line.”, the USK report said.
This is the full announcement:
Taking into account the large number of citizens' demands for withdrawing 10% of the funds from the Trust, as well as the country's pandemic situation, the Kosovo Bank Association calls on all beneficiaries who have applied to withdraw 10% of the means from the Trust, so that after announcing the transfer of tools to their accounts, they can use as many electronic instruments as the dealt-banking service and bank cards to make purchases and payments. Paying through electronic instruments is cheaper, more efficient, and safer for citizens.
However, for cases where physical withdrawal of cash is necessary, we ask citizens to use the banking ATM network, which is extended throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and will be available with full capacity. In this form long queues within bank branches will be avoided by preventing the distribution of COVID-19 and unnecessary expectations in line.
The banking sector will continue to provide all financial services with full capacity for all banking customers by providing services as easily, quickly and safely.
