A terrorist attack in eastern Afghanistan has tragicly claimed the lives of a journalist and her driver.
Malala Maiwand was on her way to work in Jalalabad this morning, when armed persons opened fire on her vehicle, and her driver, Mohammed Tahir, also lost his life.
According to the BBC, no organisation has taken over the attack conducted on Thursday (December 10th).
Maiwand was also known as a civil society activist. She had previously talked about the challenges of being a female journalist in the country.
