We also jointly praised the work Albania has done in the fight against anti-Semitism, especially both the OSCE Chief of Radha and the organisation of the Balkan Forum against anti-Semitism. The Albanian people shine as a precious example in European history, as the only people who with their protection, hospitality, and care have enabled more Jews in Albania after World War II than before.

We also discussed the importance of several projects in the areas of security, education, economy and culture between Albania and Israel. Our historical relationship must be transformed into concrete projects of economic, political and institutional co-operation. Albania is fully committed to deepening its relationship with the United States of America and Israel.
