Residents of Shipovo of Bosnia and Herzegovina were shocked Tuesday by an unprecedented crime after a monk was found dead in the Glogovac village monastery with stab wounds, of which he also lost his life, reports “Nezavisne novine”.
Although this information has not been officially confirmed by the police, a cordon of police and ambulance crews went through Sipovos, writes Vijesti.ba.
According to unofficial information, the monk was stabbed in the chest. Also, as Nezavisne reveals, police are searching for a man who may be linked to crime, but information from competent authorities has not yet been confirmed.
The official site of the monastery says: “in distrust and grief, we inform all the people of the Glogovac Monastery that an unknown author killed Father Stefan, an old monk of the Glogovac Monastery, with a knife on the evening of December 7th. All details of this terrible crime will be announced later, and the time will become known for the funeral of the martyr monk Stefan”
